Tim the Tree Man has been offering professional and reliable service to Nevada County and surrounding areas since 1996. Tim Murphy, owner and Certified Arborist(WE-0960A), has more than 40 years of experience. He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, a Certified Treecare Safety Professional with TCIA (Tree Care Industry Association) as well as a Graduate of UC Berkeley.

The company motto is: to meet or exceed our clients’ expectations. This is accomplished by arriving promptly for scheduled appointments, pruning trees to standards set by the International Society of Arboriculture, doing removals in a safe and efficient manner and following up with a spotless cleanup.

Quality Equipment for a Superior Job

Tree jobs can vary from ornamental pruning of a Japanese Maple to hazardous removals accomplished using cranes and logging trucks. Tim prides himself on bringing the right tools and assets to accomplish any job.  

Equipment consists of: (2) 11 yard Chip Trucks, (2) Chippers, a 55 foot Bucket Truck, Kubota Tractor, (2) 6’X 12’ Dump Trailers and a 4-wheel-drive Support Vehicle. 

Tim the Tree Man, Inc. carries both Workers Compensation Insurance and Liability Insurance ($1,000,000.00).
